Law and Finance Like I’m Five (LAFLIF)

The immediate aim of this newsletter is to provide engaging explainer essays presented in accessible language for everyday people. I suspect that the mouthful title of this newsletter already betrays its intention.

Concepts in Law and Finance, being professional fields, are generally presented in extremely technical language which is a little funny when you consider that they are meant to serve the everyday person. This is not to deny the fact that there are complex concepts in Law and Finance.

Personal savings apps, card payment options, loan options, etc are not targeted at law bros and finance bros, they are targeted at the ordinary person walking the streets of […insert your city here].

If you can enter into everyday agreements and make use of financial products, then you can definitely get a basic understanding of how things work in law and finance, but not to worry, I will hold your hands through the process.

This is not professional advice…

The aim of this newsletter is to educate and explain concepts to you, it is not to provide you with professional advice on whatever matter it is that you might be caught in the middle of.

Read, enjoy, and learn, but if you need advice please seek professional advice.
